​John's written work includes essays, screenplays, short stories and poetry. He has worked in all areas of performance including commercial acting, dance, musical, and experimental theater.

Multiple award winning choreographer, John is considered one of the pioneers of the dance form Contact Improvisation.

Critic Circle Award winning choreography & movement coaching for Thrillpeddlers Theatre hit production of Vice Palace.

Past movement consultation and collaborations include: Blake Street Hawkeyes Theatre Company, Whoopi Goldberg, North Coast Shakespeare Festival, Joe Goode Dance Company, London Contemporary Dance Theatre, San Francisco Ballet, Houston Ballet.
